On 11 May 2009 Cabinet:

noted that the Fiscal Strategy Report and Executive Summary to the 2009 Budget Economic 
and Fiscal Update, drafts of which are attached to the submission under CAB (09) 234, will 
be published with the Budget on 28 May 2009; 
2
 
noted the long-term fiscal objectives in the draft Fiscal Strategy Report; 
3
 
noted that the Minister of Finance would finalise the wording of the section on the  
long-term net debt objective in consultation with the Prime Minister; 
4
 
invited Ministers to provide any comments on the draft documents to the Minister of 
Finance.
